Testimonials

"Rabbi Jack was awesome. He met with us and we exchanged several e-mails. While my wife and I aren't very religious, we knew it was important to incorporate several Jewish elements in our ceremony. He accommodated to our needs and offered suggestions. Everyone raved after the ceremony how nice and charming he was during the ceremony. He was like a ninja, came in a few minutes before the ceremony, performed the wedding, and left a few minutes after he was done (after a picture or two), which was fine with us. We would have gladly fed him, but he politely declined. Either way, it was a memorable ceremony and we really appreciated his wit and charm."

"It was very difficult finding a Rabbi that matched our personalities and needs. We were thrilled when we found Jack Silver. He helped us prepare a ketubah that matched what we wanted and created a personalized, beautiful ceremony, which suited us perfectly! We will always remember what a warm and meaningful ceremony we had. Rabbi Silver was very professional, but also very warm and caring, and accommodated all of our needs and requests. We are so thankful we found Rabbi Silver!"

"We hired Rabbi Silver to officiate our wedding. We met with Rabbi Jack and instantly knew he would marry us! He's so friendly and personable. He made us feel comfortable and really wanted to get to know us as a couple. My husband wasn't raised Jewish, but we had a Jewish ceremony. He really listened during our first meeting and incorporated all the major traditions. Our guests couldn't stop raving about our ceremony and our Rabbi. They loved the ceremony and the way he captured the 'essence' of our relationship!"

"Rabbi Jack was the perfect choice as an officiant for our wedding. He worked with us prior to the wedding creating a beautiful, personal ceremony that expressed our ties to Judaism, our individual personalities and our values as a couple. Jack was extremely sensitive to our families' needs, making sure that both my family (observant Jews) and my husband's (non-practicing Catholics and Jews) were comfortable. He worked with us to understand our backgrounds, beliefs and needs for this important day. He helped us incorporate Jewish traditions, and meaningful music and poetry into the ceremony. Our ceremony was perfect, and working with Jack couldn't have been better."

"Rabbi Jack Silver performed a wonderful, warm, and personalized ceremony on our special day. He met with us at our home and made us feel so comfortable. He answered all our questions and took time to get to know us personally -- he is caring, kind and fun too! He encouraged us to add our own inspirations and made nice suggestions to guide us. As we were an interfaith couple, we were so glad to have found Jack. Such a terrific job on a perfect day!"

"After being told by several other rabbis that they would not marry us because my fiancé was not Jewish we were referred to Rabbi Silver. He was wonderful to work with; helped us to begin to think through our religious plans for future children; and he helped my fiancé (and me for that matter) to gain a better understanding of Judaism."
-Mary and Scott B.

"Rabbi Silver helped us to plan a special Havdalla service for our son Brian's Simchat Ben service. Both of sets of our parents were concerned that we did not have a traditional Brit Milah (Brian was circumcised in the hospital), but everyone remarked about this wonderful, moving and personalized ceremony."
-Barry and Lisa Y.

"Our twins had very limited Jewish education but wanted to have a bar mitzvah. Rabbi Silver worked with Adam and Ben, helped them to begin to read and write Hebrew, explained the importance of this life cycle event, assisted them to work on their individual mitzvah research projects, and planned together with me and my husband, a beautiful and meaningful service. Many of our family and guests commented about how involving and unique the service was. Both Paul and I are indebted to Jack because of our sons' greater identification as Jews."

"Dear Rabbi Silver,
"Once again many thanks to you for conducting my brother Gene's funeral service with such caring and sensitivity. Ironically, my nephew found a list that Gene had written regarding his funeral plans and it stated: 'Call Rabbi Silver in Phoenix.' So, without knowing we were carrying out his wishes."
Sincerely, Bobbi S. C.

"Rabbi Jack, Thank you so much! You were fantastic; our friends and family can't quit gushing about how great the ceremony was! Thanks for being such an important part of our special day!!"
